FC 27 Web App: Release, Transfer Market Unlock and Fixes

When the FC 27 Web App arrives, how to unlock its transfer market, the fixes for the most common errors, and why every autobuyer depends on it.

Updated 5 min read

The FC 27 Web App is the browser version of Ultimate Team. You cannot play matches on it, but you can manage your club, open packs, complete SBCs and, most importantly for traders, use the transfer market from any computer. Its mobile twin, the Companion App, does the same on your phone.

For many players, the Web App is where the season really starts. It usually arrives before the game itself, and every autobuyer and sniping bot depends on it. This guide covers when it releases, how to get into the market and what to do when it stops working.

When does the FC 27 Web App come out?

EA follows the same pattern most years: the Web App arrives shortly before a new game launches, ahead of Early Access. That gives players a head start on building a club and trading before most people have the game.

For FC 27, the Web App went live in September 2026, before Early Access. If you are reading this for a future edition, expect the same rhythm: watch EA’s official channels in the weeks before release.

Why the release matters for traders:

  • Prices are unstable for the first days. Early packs and early demand swing prices wildly, which creates many underpriced listings.
  • Starter squads are in demand. Cheap, useful players sell fast in the first week.
  • The market resets. Everyone starts from zero coins, so early trades compound.

Logging in

You log in with the same EA account you use for FC 27 on your console or PC. On first login the Web App links to your club for the current season. If you play on several platforms, make sure you choose the right club.

Keep your EA account secure:

  • Use a strong, unique password.
  • Turn on login verification.
  • Save your backup codes somewhere safe. They let you log in even if you lose access to your verification method, and they are also how trusted services connect to your club.

Why is the transfer market locked?

The most common Web App complaint is a locked Transfer Market tab. EA restricts the Web App market for accounts that do not meet its requirements yet, typically:

  • New EA accounts or new Ultimate Team clubs.
  • Accounts with little previous Ultimate Team history.
  • Accounts that were inactive for a long time.

The usual fix is simply playing: start your club on console or PC, play some matches and complete early objectives. Access usually opens over time. There is no legitimate way to force it open, so ignore anyone selling “unlock” services.

FUT not working: common problems and fixes

The Web App will not load at launch. Launch days are busy. Wait, refresh later and try a different browser. Server load usually settles within hours.

“Too many actions” or empty searches. You have hit a temporary limit, often called a soft ban, because of too many searches or purchases in a short time. Stop searching and wait. Our autobuyer safety guide explains how these limits work.

A verification or captcha check appears. Complete it. It usually appears after unusual activity. If it appears often, slow down.

You get logged out constantly. Only one Ultimate Team session can be active at once. If your console, the Companion App or a trading tool is logged in, the Web App will keep kicking you out.

Nothing works after an update. Clear the site data for the Web App, disable browser extensions and log in again.

Wrong club or platform. Check that you are logged in with the EA account and platform your club belongs to.

Web App or Companion App?

Both open the same club, so choose by situation:

  • Web App on a computer is better for serious trading: a bigger screen, faster navigation through search results and easier price checks.
  • Companion App on your phone is better for quick checks: claiming rewards, relisting unsold cards and completing an SBC on the go.
  • Never use both at once. Logging in on one ends the session on the other.

Your first days on the Web App

The first days of a new season are the most profitable trading window of the year. A simple plan:

  1. Log in as soon as it is live and set up your club.
  2. Claim every starter reward and keep tradeable items.
  3. Sell cards that are in early demand, such as useful starter players, while prices are high.
  4. Avoid buying expensive cards in the first days. Prices usually fall as more players join.
  5. Build a budget so you can buy when prices settle.

Checklist: why can’t I trade on the Web App?

  • Is the transfer market tab locked for your account?
  • Are you logged in on the console, the Companion App or another tool at the same time?
  • Did you just hit a search or purchase limit?
  • Are you on the right EA account and the right platform’s club?
  • Is the Web App itself having server problems right now?

Work through the list in that order. Most “FUT not working” cases are one of these five.

The Web App and autobuyers

Every FUT Web App autobuyer and sniping bot works through the Web App’s transfer market, because it is the only way software can reach the market without touching your console. That is also why:

  • Bots work for PlayStation, Xbox and PC clubs alike. They trade the same Web App market.
  • Your Web App access must work first. If the transfer market is locked for you, no bot can trade for you either.
  • Sessions matter. A bot using your Web App session will be logged out if you open the Web App yourself.

Browser extensions run inside your own Web App tab. Cloud autobuyers like FUTCLOUD log in from their servers using your Web App login and backup codes, so your computer can stay off. We compare both in cloud autobuyer vs Chrome extension.

Web App tips for traders

  • Trade early in the season. Prices are most volatile in the first weeks.
  • Use the watchlist. Track cards you want to buy and cards you are bidding on.
  • Keep your transfer list tidy. Relist unsold cards and clear sold ones so slots stay free.
  • Price check every time. Market values change daily.
  • Do not log in on two devices at once while trading.

Get more out of the Web App

The Web App gives you access to the market, but trading it by hand takes hours. FUTCLOUD runs a cloud autobuyer on your Web App session 24/7, paced like a human trader, free to start with a 50/50 profit share.

Frequently asked questions

When does the FC 27 Web App come out?

EA traditionally releases the Ultimate Team Web App shortly before a new game launches, ahead of Early Access. The FC 27 Web App went live in September 2026, before Early Access, so players could start their club and trade early.

Why is my FC 27 Web App transfer market locked?

EA keeps the Web App transfer market locked for accounts that do not yet meet its requirements, usually new or recently inactive accounts. Playing Ultimate Team on your console or PC and completing early objectives normally unlocks it over time.

Why does FUT say too many actions?

You have searched, bid or bought too quickly and hit a temporary limit, often called a soft ban. Stop searching for a while and let it expire.

Can I use the Web App and my console at the same time?

Only one Ultimate Team session can be active at a time. Logging in on one device ends the session on the other.
